Since 1990 an era of liberalization in social communication in Cameroon opened officially. Up to now – almost two decades later - the civil society has still no resources, no equipment to break the monopoly of state propaganda. In mid-term we want to establish an independet TV training center, production included, which is open to the demands of the new markets in the sector which is more and more expanding: audio-visual TV production. At the same time we encompass research, creative work, education, production and broadcast, both at national and international level. ”Learning by doing” is our main working concept. Our goal is to advance a communicative and esthetically innovative approach, which will aid effectively to overcome ethnic barriers and convey an image of strong citizenship. Thus we invite technicians, young people with a degree for TV production or related studies, experienced professionals to be part of our training efforts. French and English speaking volunteers are welcome. We offer lodging in Bonendale, a village of artists close to Douala on the banks of the Wouri estuary. Please, co-operate with us!
