Grace Omondi is a young woman under Project Africa's umbrella. She has been raised by a single mother since her father died. Today, Grace is using her interest in Drawing and writing to produce reading charts for lower primary school children. Using a Nylon sacks which she buys at the local market, Grace has transformed them to be her material instead of paper which wears out quickly.
She sits under the sun and slowly writes her charts which later she sells and earn a living.
The charts are bought by schools in her community. She desires to expand her trade by teaching four other young women, prepare a brand name and supply to schools, bookshops and other. Her Goal is to supply to the whole of Africa.

Grace Omondi is a Young woman of Influence. Though brought up in a poor family by a single mother living in a rural village in western Kenya; She has decided to rise above the challenge of poverty to empower children with education as well as provide herself and others with income.

grace loves to draw and write. She says she is using her talent to make a difference. She produces reading charts  for lower primary school children from locally found material and paints. From  an old sack she uses felt pens and colours to draw images, numbers, letters of the alphabet and other to produce teaching aids.

Sighting that the sacks made from nylon are much durable than paper, this is a viable project affordable for rural schools all over Africa and other developing countries. Today, Grace is looking for partners and working under Project Africa she desires to teach four other women  how to produce and market their charts.

she is determined to create  community employment out of the charts. Please partner with Grace today!!!
