    CARE enables the disadvantaged indigenous people to participate in saving and credit groups and helps them to build up an own existence. The project is promoted by the Daimler Financial Services.

    Cyclone Nargis has devastated vast areas of land in Burma. An estimated 100.000 victims have lost their lives, and 1,5 million people have been displaced, lost their homes and livelihoods. CARE has 500 people on the ground providing support.
